Whenever I smell saffron and Arabian jasmine, I am back in my grandmother's house, watching her blend her oils and waiting for them to mature and reveal new layers.
Both ingredients sit at the heart of Texture Veloutée. I created it with my father in mind: his elegance, his presence, the quiet way he filled a room. Saffron, tangerine and ylang-ylang open the fragrance, jasmine and osmanthus form its heart, and moss, patchouli and cedarwood carry it through the day.
For me it is a scent about home, about the strength of a family and the kindness that holds it together. I hope it gives the same feeling of reassurance to everyone who wears it.
